To create a powerful network, you need to constantly look for ways to help people progress.  You need to be progress in their eyes.  You must be seen as an agent in their progress.  You need to be a progress agent.  When you meet new people, make your number- one priority finding a way to help that person move toward these six Ps of Progress.

Get out and meet people.  Network everywhere!  Look people in the eye.  Be genuinely interested.  Building visibility and credibility builds profitability.  Make sure you are making a positive impression.  People need to be aware of you in a positive way.  People must be aware of you, not beware of you.

The most successful individuals in any industry are those who become proactive – and stay proactive.  They maintain their visibility and credibility.  They help people.  They share information.  They show they care.  They consistently do the things that are necessary to demonstrate that they’re in the relationship for the long term.

It’s not that tough.  Most people on the planet get pleasure when people smile at them, listen to them, and take interest in what they say.  So that’s a pretty safe place to start.
